Jonathon Pryce and Grant Rouse led the way as Liphook & Ripsley powered their way to a massive 350-7 in the National Village Cup victory over Sussex League Division 5 Central outfit Balcombe - the 134-run win setting up a tasty West Sussex county final showdown against Findon at Ripsley Park on Sunday, 1pm.
Pryce hit 95 (three sixes and ten fours), while Rouse defied a nagging shoulder injury to plunder 85 off 33 deliveries, hitting seven maximums and seven fours. Harry Munt (52) and George Neave (30) also filled their boots as Liphook struck 13 sixes and 39 fours.
To their credit, Balcombe didn't wave the white flag, instead responding with a 126-run opening partnership and closing at 216-8, Jamie Hall taking 4-38.
