Shrewton all-rounder Will Harries, pictured, has won a prestigious award by the competition organisers, The Cricketer magazine, for the best individual bowling performance in the second round of the Village Cup.
He returned a career-best  7-28 as the Shrews skittled Burbage for 94 a fortnight ago before completing a ten wicket win over their Wiltshire rivals.
It's set up an intriguing Dorset/Wiltshire zone semi-final home tie against Parley on Sunday (1pm) when Shrewton will be anxious to avenge a recent Hampshire League thrashing by the Dorset club.  Parley ran up 244-7 before shooting Shrewton out for a meagre 60 to win by 194 runs.
The two Hampshire county semi-finals feature Easton & Martyr Worthy against Tichborne Park at Cockets Mead, and giant killers Bramshaw playing 2017 regional winners Liphook & Ripsley.  Bramshaw ko’d Langley Manor in the last round.
Despite playing in Hampshire League County 2, Bedhampton feature in the West Sussex group and, having beaten Emsworth last time out, now host Chidham & Hambrook at Bidbury Mead, where four members of the Hovey family are in the side (supported by seven others ..).
