Teenage duo Liam Shore (left above) and Mark Butcher (above right) carried off the Southern Premier Division 3 bowling and wicketkeeping awards, respectively.
Shore's 23-wicket haul, which included a 6-23 return against Hythe & Dibden, matched that of evergreen Basingstoke seamer Keith Harris and helped Hook & Newnham Basics II to a second consecutive promotion. Hampshire League Division 1 runners-up in 2019, Hook will play SPL2 cricket next summer.
Fellow teen Mark Butcher's glovework helped Hambledon win the SPL3 championship. He bagged 16 dismissals (13 caught and 3 stumped) behind the sticks at Ridge Meadow.
