YOUR CHANCE TO BOWL AT SOME OF THE STARS OF THE IPL !

25/5/2018

India A, whose ranks will include some of the current IPL stars, are holding a five-day training camp at Hampshire’s Ageas Bowl from Monday 11 to Friday June 15, morning/afternoon, start times 1100/1130 and 1300/1330.
Hampshire are looking to recruit eight (8) net practice bowlers, both spin and pace, for all of these training sessions – the incentive being that the one’s that stand out will probably get re-invited back for the England-India Test Match at the Bowl in late August.
So, if you are a regular Premier League standard bowler and can take a morning/afternoon off work/studies, then Tim Tremlett, Hampshire’s Cricket Operations Manager, will be pleased to hear from you.
Please email [email protected] by 4 June 2018 with –
1 Your name, age and email contact details
2 The name of your club and what you bowl (ie pace, seam, spin…)
3 The number of wickets you took in 2017 and so far this season.
Looking further ahead to next season and with the Ageas Bowl hosting several World Cup matches and possibly one or two training camps Hampshire we will need an army of net bowlers!
The ECB have requested that the standard is as high as possible and, therefore, Hampshire will be creating a database of net bowlers to hopefully meet their criteria.
