YOUTH ODI: WEATHERLEY SHINES IN DRAMATIC LOSS

Hampshire prospect Joe Weatherley made 47 but was unable to spare England Under-19s a penultimate ball defeat against Australia in the third Youth ODI in Perth. England made 241-7 off their 50 overs, but were beaten by three wickets – Jake Doran scoring a century as Australia got home with a ball to spare. Hampshire off-spinner Brad Taylor conceded 43 runs off a wicket-less ten-overs spell.
