Sparsholt and Hambledon are set for head-to-head Premier Division 2 and National Village Cup action over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Teenage all-rounder Mike Haworth makes his first appearance of the season in the SPL2 match at Locks Lane tomorrow, while the clubs meet again in the village county semi-final at Hambledon’s Ridge Meadow on Sunday, 1pm. Unbeaten Hambledon are without influential top order left-hander Rob Atkins.
Sparsholt: A Worth,  R Kenway, S Tognarelli, D Banks, M Haworth, T Foster, J Frith, D Gough, K Ruffell, A Gough, N Doubell.  Hambledon: Bond, G Marshall, Nkomo, Chakrabarti, Le-Clercq, J Marshall, O Chapman, Bains, Chapman, Turner, Hetherington.
Tichborne Park, away to Bashley (Rydal) II tomorrow, play in the other village semi-final at home to Hursley Park.
With two wins already under their belts, Calmore Sports are unsurprisingly unchanged for their potentially testing visit to newly promoted South Wilts II.
Captain Mark Lavelle wants his batsmen to cash in on South Wilts’ excellent surface, especially as the Bemerton Babes have lost opening bowlers Christian Pain and Luke Evans to first team call-ups.
Calmore Sports: Lavelle, Goodrich, Johns, Moss, Perry, Hardy, Rose, Pegler, West, Proudley, Wright.
Trojans expect to extend their positive start at winless Hartley Wintney, while Paultons make one change with Andy Collins replacing Scott Hills at Fawley.
Paultons: Richman, Wateridge, Feltham, Collins, O'Brien, Ennew, Drake, Pike, Holgate, Lamb, Denney.
