The Manor have put last season’s relegation disappointments firmly behind them with emphatic wins over Hursley Park and newly promoted Ryde.
Luke Mooney is absent, but both teenage all-rounder Elliot Ponting and Jamie Brown, fresh from his nine wickets in second team cricket so far, are knocking on the Manor door.
Langley Manor: Renders, Budd, Browne, Castle, Jenkin, G Noble, Hamid, Harris, R Noble, Spencer, Brown, Ponting, Jerram.
Lymington: Kelly, Robertson, Sutherland, C Moors, Nowell, K Moors, Gabb, Chandler, Layman, Hunt, Drodge.
St Cross Symondians II will be the first senior side to play at Ryde’s Hardings Shute ground since the island club’s promotion.
The notoriously wet ground has been unplayable so far, with all three scheduled home games being called off, but Ryde did manage an Under-15 Cup tie there in midweek.
Winless Hursley Park go to Waterlooville, who are boosted by the return of in-form seamer Danny Durant.
