The Hampshire Cricket League collected a staggering £4,685 in fines last summer - over 100 teams being hit in the pocket, mainly due to poor administration.
Three teams were deducted points, while -
£3,865 was collected as fines for no ground reports alone
£355 was collected because results were not submitted or submitted late
A total of £465 was collected for non attendance at the AGM, failure to collect balls and handbooks at Distribution Day, or for a failure to submit averages.
