Alton seconds clinched the Hampshire League County Division 1 championship and regained the Southern Premier League Division 3 place they lost 12 months ago with a five-wicket win over now relegated Ellingham.
They won all bar one of their 14 matches, effectively finishing 12 points ahead of runners-up Purbrook, who are promoted alongside them.
Richard Anthony, led the way with the bat, scoring 428 runs, while Ryan Hale and Joe Paul also topped the 300-run mark. Lee Partner (27 wickets) and Steve Ball (26) were the top bowlers, while Hugo Hammond snared 29 victims behind the stumps.
