Colden Common and Otterbourne’s prospects in County Division 4 South this coming season have been boosted by the arrival of players from Sporting Wessex, who withdrew from Regional 1 North East at the end of 2018.
The club, renamed Colden Common and Otterbourne SW, are looking forward to a new, and hopefully successful campaign, with the seconds and thirds in the Regional Central 1 and 2 respectively.
CCOSW are preparing for the season with indoor nets on Wednesday evenings between 8 and 9pm at Wyvern College in Fair Oak.
The 1st and 2nd teams will be playing at Boyes Lane in Colden Common, while the 3rds will play at the University ground in Wide Lane.

Burley, one of the New Forest's oldest clubs, capped a fine 2018 by winning the New Forest Sports Association Club of the Year award.
Long serving player and head youth team coach Ray Gunn were at a glittering ceremony at Balmer Lawn to collect the award, along with chairman Peter Goodwin and honorary club captain Barry Tucker.
Founded in 1875, Burley undertook their second overseas tour in November, playing two matches in North Africa and beating the Moroccan national team in the process.
They also raised £485 to buy their hosts a coconut cricket mat and have subsequently shipped cricket equipment (bats, pads and helmets) to Morocco.
Back on the historic village green, Burley's Kieron Hudson's new club record 883 runs won the Hampshire League County Division 4 West batting award for a second time, while James Brown's 32 wickets for the second team (a club record) helped Burley IIs win promotion to HCL Regional Division 1 West.
Burley's youth teams were also successful, the Under-10s winning the Dorset League Division 2 Cup, with the Under-15s runners-up in Division 3.
